Oratia Maid

Oratia Maid is an interesting rose. It is reported to be a 'seedling' of Iceberg and 'similar to Iceberg in every way other than that it is flushed with pink'. See article by Joanne Knight who re-introduced it via Kauri Creek Nurseries. Little seems to be known about its breeding. To see it in bloom at the Nancy Steen Garden, in tandem with Iceberg, one could be forgiven for thinking it could also be a sport.
